New Mothman Report from Kansas

Another Mothman sighting was taken by OZ Investigation Group on 11-20-2025. The event occurred at Hwy 244 and N. Milford Lake Rd. Near Milford Lake, Kansas. The location is just West of Fort Riley. The sighting happened on Thanksgiving night in November of 2024. A couple was driving home late one evening after a gathering at a friend's house. At approximately 11:00 pm, they saw a gigantic, winged creature flying over the lake. It was close to a full moon on a clear night, so visibility was good. Mr. Jenkins slowed the vehicle but did not stop. The witnesses described seeing a black humanoid creature with enormous bat-like wings and legs.

The creature flew from East to West and then down into some trees. They both described an eerie sensation just before the sighting, which is a common experience among witnesses who see a Mothman. The couple was too afraid to investigate further and did not stop the vehicle. They estimated the wingspan to be at least 25 feet. 

"I still can't believe what I saw, and if my wife hadn't seen it too, I wouldn't be talking about it," said Mr. Jenkins. 

The couple has not seen anything out of the ordinary since, but they do keep a watchful eye out when they drive in the area just in case the winged creature returns.
