Spectacular Video of a Cube-Shaped Object Over Springfield, Missouri is Determined to be a UFO

Electrician Justin Johnson of Springfield was headed home from work on October 18, 2021 when he spotted an unusual object in the sky which he first thought was a helicopter flying southwest, then change direction to the northwest. He realized that it was not a helicopter and stopped to take video of the object, which appears to be a spinning cube-shaped UFO.

Justin Johnson reported his October 18 sighting of this strange object and submitted the 70-second video which was taken at approximately 5:05 pm to Missouri MUFON. State Section Director James Bair is the lead investigator on the case, with assistance from Margie Kay, Assistant State Director. Wayne Lawrence, Chief Investigator, did the video analysis of the object.

After checking with Flight Radar 24 for any plans or helicopters in the air at the time the video was taken James determined that there were none. He also checked for local balloon launches and bird migrations, but there were none reported. James stated that he does not believe this object appeared to be any type of drone, balloon or kite.

Wayne Lawrence did a careful analysis of the object and has determined that the object rotates in several different directions along its X and Y axis making 3 revolutions per second, or about 180 rpm, and at times two or three exact duplicate objects appear in the video. The sky is clear, and the sun reflects off of the object. Using Trigonometry and the known angle and likely location over the regional airport, Wayne was able to determine the size of the object to be approximately 87 feet in width (roughly the length of a regional airliner) and the altitude at 15,000 feet near the airport.

Margie Kay discussed both of these cases with a veteran drone design and operation engineer who used to work for the military, and he stated that he knows of no drone technology capable of spinning, and that to create such a thing would be an engineering nightmare. He can think of no plausible reason to create a drone that can spin on its axis.

An interview was conducted by Margie Kay with UNX News about this case and it can be viewed at https://youtu.be/HXWk2m71_vY

A similar sighting on Tuesday, October 19 was reported by Fox 8 News in Cleveland, Ohio. Matthew Jandecka of Cleveland Heights was sitting on his porch when he spotted a spilling cube-shaped object in the sky and began recording it.

Matthew stated that “A cube that was rotating and the cube transformed from a rotating cube to a rotating sphere. It made no noise whatsoever. It appeared as though it was internal propulsion versus external propulsion. It’s not something that I would say is terrestrial.” The article can be found here: https://fox8.com/news/ufo-over-cleveland-heights-see-the-video.

In 2017 a witness in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma filmed a rotating cube in the sky. He is currently filing a report with MUFON so the video can be analyzed.

MUFON investigators continue to investigate this case and ask that anyone with video footage of this object to either file a report at www.mufon.com or contact ASD Margie Kay at 816-365-9492 or momufonasd@gmail.com. Witnesses may remain anonymous. MUFON is interested in similar cases from other states as well.

Sasquatch Sighting in Sugar Creek, Missouri

By Margie Kay

My son-in-law, Rick, told me about a sighting he had in 2013 at a creek in Sugar Creek, Missouri. This site is very close to the Missouri River and a creek runs through it with woods surrounding the area.

Rick and his two cousins went fishing at this location one late afternoon in the summer of 2013. The three had been on site for a couple of hours and were standing silently as they watched their fishing lines in the creek when suddenly, a large, hairy bi-pedal creature walked out of the treeline and over to the creek. The men were approximately 100 feet from the creature, and said that there was no mistaking what they were looking at -- a Sasquatch.

None of them said a word and stood frozen in place. They did not want to alert the creature to their location for fear that he might harm them.

The Sasquatch appeared to be a large male at least 8' in height with broad shoulders a conical head. It had long black hair all over except for the face. It was staring into the creek and looked back and forth, as if looking for something (fish, perhaps?). It stayed for about 10 minutes, then turned away and walked back into the woods, apparently unaware of the men's presence.

The three men then grabbed their fishing gear and ran back to their vehicle without saying a word. They left and refuse to go back to that location again because they know what is nearby.

Coincidentally, Valerie Hoover lives in Sugar Creek, and she and investigator Jean Walker with MUFON have heard loud, deep calls that they can only identify as Bigfoot. They listened to sounds of Bigfoot calls on the internet and determined that they are very similar to what they heard. Valerie's house is only about a mile from the Conservation Area, so one can assume that what the women heard was a Sasquatch.

Many UFOs Captured on Film in Weldon Spring Missouri

Donna Wilder got more than she bargained for when she took a 36-second video of the skies on March 27, 2021 from her back yard in Weldon Spring. She took the video just before after a hailstorm and upon review found multiple UFOs.

                                                                                        Original video by Donna Wilder

That is when Wilder contacted Margie Kay. Kay is the administrator of The Fast Movers and the Missouri UFO Hot spot groups on Facebook, of which Donna Wilder is a member. Wilder had seen a presentation on the Fast Movers book by Kay and her co-writers Bill Spicer and Wayne Lawrence, so she was familiar with the fact that people are capturing UFOs on video. By going back through the video frame-by frame the UFOs are easier to see.

Video analysis by Wayne Lawrence

Wilder then filed a report at MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) and Kay, who serves as Assistant State Director for Missouri MUFON, took the case, along with Wayne Lawrence, a video analyst. Lawrence evaluated the footage and found hundreds of UFOs in the video, which was taken at 30 frames per second. He was able to determine the speed of one of the objects to be 6,600 Mph.

Wilder has captured even better images of UFOs in the skies over her home since and they now appear much closer than previously.

May be an image of sky

This is one of the most compelling cases in Missouri to date. However, more and more people are reviewing their videos and seeing objects traveling at extremely high rates of speed. In most instances they are moving so fast that they are not noticeable while watching the video at normal speed.

Kay suggests that people take short videos of the sky while using a tripod with their phone or camera.  If possible, set your phone to take video at 60 fps. Then review the footage using video software frame by frame and see what you have captured. Many people are seeing amazing things in their video.

To file a UFO report go to www.mufon.com. An investigator will be in touch.

Sasquatch Attacks Missouri Cabin in 1999

If there is any question about Sasquatch living in Missouri this account should clear that up.

Frank Weston reported this sighting to Quest Investigation Group last week. He and his two hunting buddies spent the weekend at his dad's old one-room 1940s cabin on 20 acres in a rural area in southeast Missouri every year in November during deer season. The year was 1999 and it was at least the 10th time Frank had been to the cabin, even though he got the creeps every time he visited.

"I can't explain it - it just felt like we were being watched when we went there. It was just a creepy feeling every time," Frank said.

The area is very rural with woods all around and no other cabins or houses within at least 20 miles. A state forest surrounds the cabin. Then one day in 1999 Frank and his buddies finally found out exactly why they felt uncomfortable in the cabin.

Frank said, "The first day we arrived at the cabin all of us remarked how spooky the place still was, even in daylight. I drove my jeep because it is all gravel roads in this area. We put our stuff away and fixed dinner, then went to bed early since the plan was to get up early the next morning and head out to the deer stand in the woods. A few minutes later we heard heavy footsteps walking around the back part of the cabin, then they went around the side to the front. The three of us were in our cots and one of the guys whispered "Do you hear that?" We all heard it. I grabbed my rifle. Then we heard scratching on the window. I knew that whatever it was, it was big - not a deer or wolf or coyote. I got up and pulled back the curtain and to my shock there was a huge hairy dark brown Sasquatch standing there looking right back at me. I did not believe that these things existed - yet there it was! I jumped backwards and aimed my rifle at the window, and the other two guys got up and backed up towards the back of the room. They saw the Sasquatch, too. The creature had a huge head and upper body and looked like it was at least eight feet tall. The face looked very human and was without hair. There was no mistaking what it was - this was definitely a Squatch."

Then the creature walked around the side of the cabin towards the back and began to bang on the outside of the cabin. The three men turned and looked outside the windows, but stayed several feet back.  They heard Bang, Bang Bang! Then the creature began to slowly walk by, looking through the blinds in the windows. Then it finally quit. In the moonlight, they could all clearly see the huge beast walking across the back yard and disappear into the woods.

"The strides on this thing were huge, much longer than any human could make," said Frank. The three went back to bed but none of them got any sleep for fear that the beast might come back. But it didn't. The men thought that as big as it was, the Sasquatch could easily have torn out the windows or doors and killed them all if it wanted to, but it didn't. Apparently, it just wanted to scare the men off.

The next morning the three packed up and left without going hunting. They never returned to the cabin again. When asked if the men checked for footprints, Frank said that all they wanted to do was get out of there and did not think about checking for footprints at the time.
He said that he will not go back even with a crew of investigators, and he won't tell anyone exactly where the cabin is located so that people will stay away.

Cattle Mutilations in Missouri Baffle Investigators and Ranchers

Cow mutilations in western Missouri have ranchers concerned about the loss of their livestock.

Henry County rancher Lyn Mitchell is baffled by the mutilations of two of her cows within nine days.

Location of cow found July 10
On July 10, 2013 Lyn Mitchell arrived at her ranch in Northwest Henry County, west of Warrensburg, and found a six-year old healthy Black Angus cow lying dead. The cow's udder, anus, reproductive organs, ear, and tongue had been removed with precision, yet no blood or fluids were found on the ground. Her other cattle circled the cow, giving it a wide berth, which is unusual behavior. Lyn found an article on animal mutilations written by Chuck Zukowski, so she promptly contacted Chuck, who lives in Colorado. Zukowski forwarded the case to Kansas City resident and Missouri MUFON Assistant State Director Margie Kay.

Lyn Mitchell's ranch
Kay and a fellow investigator visited the site and took soil and grass samples to be examined by a lab in Colorado. They found a strange black outline around where the cow had been lying on the ground that looked like burnt grass. An unexplained large imprint that looked like a bigfoot print in a cow pie was found by Jordan. It measured 16" long and 8.5" wide. An attempt at getting a casting proved unsuccessful. No samples were taken from the cow, who was badly decomposing and had been moved to a different location.

Mitchell said that on the day before this incident she was tending to the juviniles in their pen when she suddenly had the urge to look up in the sky. Although she did not see anything, she took several photos of the sky anyway. She could not explain it, but she felt that something was watching her from above.

Mitchell related that another incident occurred two years prior. A calf was found mutilated with tissue and muscle removed from the jaw, and the tongue removed in December of 2011 in a nearby pasture. At the time, the rancher thought it was just a predator and thought no more of it.

Imprint in cow pie
On July 19, 2013 Lyn Mitchell called Margie Kay to report that yet another of her cows was found dead. Kay and a second investigator arrived just after the sheriff and veterinarian completed their investigations. The veterinarian told Mitchell that the teats had been cut from the udder, the tongue was cut out, and an incision had been made between the front legs with the heart lying outside the body. There was little blood in the chest cavity or heart, which is very unusual. The vet explained that he could not identify the cause of death, but that it definitely was not caused by animals due to the precise cuts on the cow. Kay found no blood on the scene, which would normally be found if the cow had been mutilated at that same location. No tracks from vehicles were found, and the only entrance gate to the property was locked.

Once again, there was a strange black outline on the ground as if it had been burned. Kay, who is a forensic investigator, said that it looked like a chemical burn.

Cow found on July 19, 2013
Then things got very strange. The witness and both investigators heard a very loud, low flying airplane go overhead, but none of them could see it. The plane was invisible to the naked eye. The three were standing in the middle of a very large field with a good view of the sky in all directions. Then, unbelievably, a second plane flew overhead yet could not be seen. The engines sounded different and had a higher pitch than the first plane. The three decided it was time to leave the area, but Kay promised to return.

A week later, Margie Kay and Debbie Ziegelmeyer, State Director for Missouri

MUFON returned to the site to continue the investigation. They found high EMF readings in and near where the cow had been found, and the black outline on the ground remained. They checked all of the tires on the farm equipment to see if it matched with the print found a the site but they did not. The three women were standing near the black markings when Kay saw a bright round flash of light on the ground approximately three feet in diameter, blinding her for a few seconds. It was a clear day with the sun overhead, yet the flash was incredibly bright. Debbie and Margie could not find a source for the mysterious light.

Second cow location with burnt outline
The investigators set up two nigh-vision motion-activated video cameras on the property and then packed up to leave. The three women were nearing the vehicles at the gate when a sudden long-lasting gush of 60 - 80 mph wind came up, blowing their hair and themselves. The day was dead calm with no wind, so this event was unexpected. After approximately one to two minutes, the wind stopped and did not return. Debbie and Margie agreed that it seemed as if a helicopter suddenly started up and took off, yet they could not hear or see any type of craft.

Two weeks later, Kay returned to retrieve the two cameras that had been set up on the property. The video showed strange lights moving about the property. When asked, Lynne Mitchell said she had no explanation for the lights. There are no other properties around the area.

Lyn Mitchell is distraught over the loss of her cows. She said “I don't understand why someone would want to do this to an animal, or how they accomplished it.” Mitchell said that each cow was worth approximately $2,000, not taking into account the future calves they would have produced. She pointed out that all three mutilated animals were very healthy and the best of her stock.

A similar cow mutilation near Rich Hill, Missouri occurred on April 10, 2013. This involved a cow with missing udder, female organs, and tongue. Kay investigated this case, and oddly, the rancher reported that the area where the cow was found dead glowed red for three nights. A retired sheriff deputy told Kay that he investigated a similar case in 1993 where three ranchers reported mutilated cattle, and was told to back off the case. The deputy believed that there was a connection to UFOs because the ranchers reported seeing a craft over their fields before the mutilated animals were found.

A cow mutilation near KCI airport was reported to local media January 5, 2012 and was covered by local news channel KCTV 5. Margie Kay saw the news report an immediately contacted the reporter, who put her in touch with the rancher. Kay and investigator Corey Pearce went to the site with the rancher's permission. The veterinarian said that precision cuts had been made on the animal but no blood was found on the site, which is unexplainable. They found a 2” indentation in the hard ground where the cow had been lying before the rancher removed it, indicating that the animal may have been dropped from above. Soil testing revealed that the soil was hydrophobic (non-water soluble). This can only occur if soil has been subjected to high heat. The soil also had high levels of manganese, compared to test samples taken 30 feet away.

Excerpt from KCTV website article:

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – Kansas City police are investigating a bizarre and disturbing crime involving livestock in the Northland. Someone had entered a private pasture and cut out a cow’s reproductive organs, possibly while the cow was still alive. Rancher Casey Hamilton called police Thursday morning, directing them to a pasture at 120th and Brightwell, just west of Kansas City International Airport. He told them he had separated the 7-year-old cow from the rest of his cattle because she was sick. He had been treating her and said that when he left her at 6 p.m. Wednesday, she was standing and eating. When he returned Thursday at 6:30 a.m., she was dead with two distinct chunks of tissue removed. “For somebody to get a 1,200 pound cow down and do that,” Hamilton said, “they had to know what they were doing with a tranquilizer.” He said there were no bullet holes in her nor signs of rope marks, but there were signs of a struggle. “The cow had struggled on the ground,” said Aaron Brisbane, the veterinarian who examined the animal. Brisbane said he could not determine whether the thrashing came before or after the cow died, but he said there was no legitimate reason for the surgical procedure the animal underwent. Someone had cut out the cow’s udders, bag, mammary glands and vulva. He said  that was the only tissue removed. “The way the cuts were done,” Brisbane said, “someone had to have done this before.” He said it appeared the precise cuts were made with a scalpel. “It was too clean to have been done with a knife or a box cutter,” he said.

In the above cases, the cows were mutilated in a similar manner, there were precision cuts on the animals, and no blood was found in the area. All of the locations are rural, with limited traffic and accessibility, and gates are always locked.

Other similar incidents have occurred in Missouri, and it is believed that Missouri was one of the first states to report animal mutilations in the 1960's. Margie investigated over 70 mutilation reports since from Missouri and other states, as well as Canada.

Kay set up a new website where people can report incidents at animuteinv.blogspot.com.

Anyone with information about animal mutilations is invited to contact Margie Kay at Quest Investigation group and Missouri MUFON at margiekay06@yahoo.com or 816-833-1602.

MO41: The Bombshell Before Roswell
By Paul Blake Smith, 2016, W&B Publishers

MO41, The Bombshell Before Roswell” by Paul Blake Smith, might well be the most exciting, shocking, and impactful event – and now book subject - not just in American history, but all of human history. Did three extraterrestrials really crash-land their circular spaceship on a farm just outside of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in mid-April of 1941? Was this stunning recovery then taken to a secret hiding place beneath perhaps the most recognizable building in the world? Was an aspect of the scientifically examined alien craft’s propulsion system applied to the U.S. nuclear weapons program to help win World War II? The serious, amazing pre-Roswell claims and quotes, rumors and insights, opinions and documented facts are all examined here, in proper chronological, easy-to-read order, the only book to ever comprehensively explore perhaps the wildest nonfiction story of all time.
The results make up a case that could win in a court of law, or at least in the court of public opinion. You, the reader, decide!

UFO Cold Cases: Missouri: Secret USAF Files, 1952-1968, Declassified
By Dave Toplikar, 2018, davetoplicarbooks.com

Warning: These cases might upset your reality. Straight out of Project Blue Book, these are UFO cases the U.S. Air Force couldn’t explain — real-life X-files from Missouri. They baffled the military and were labeled as "unknowns." Using outside analysts and military personnel, the USAF treated these reports of strange lights, flying saucers and other UFOs seriously. From the late 1940s through the late 1960s, Project Blue Book received more than 12,000 reports. Most were explained away as common everyday objects: planets, tricks of light, balloons, birds, meteors, helicopters or planes. But not all could be identified — 701 reports are still listed as “unknown.”

Man Bitten in Face by a Large Bat/Alien Creature

On March 16, 2020 in a rural area near Seneca, Missouri a man I know was camping overnight and saw a large winged creature with humanoid legs and bat-like face and ears sitting 15 feet away from him.

The witness said that the creature had large bat-like wings that were unextended. It was approximately three to four feet tall. The man was sitting on a large log in front of a fire. The creature seemed to be shocked that the man was able to see it and approached him menacingly, then bit the man on the face. The witness said it had a small mouth. He believes that the creature may have been an alien rather than a bird/man. He has seen other types of alien-like creatures at the same location.

I investigated this site in 2018 and found evidence of something anomalous happening to a tree that
was examined by a tree expert. The tree had been exposed to unknown energy which caused damage to the interior of the tree. I also examined video footage which shows strange creatures that are possibly extraterrestrials. The film footage has not yet been released to the public.

Large Humanoid Creature in Lee's Summit in 2014

Tony Degn was walking to the store in his Lee's Summit neighborhood in the summer of 2014 at 1:00 a.m. one morning when he noticed that the moon was unusually bright and close. He then noticed that the moon moved instantly from one part of the sky to another, then began to follow him. Tony decided to ignore this and continued to the store, then returned home.

At 2:00 a.m. Tony was compelled to once again to go outside and take a walk, although he cannot recall why. As he walked along the sidewalk and approached a streetlight the streetlight went out. He noticed movement in front of a nearby bush. Degn was astonished to see a black humanoid creature with arms and legs on all fours. It had white sharp teeth and stared at him in a menacing manner. The height of the creature's hunched over back was approximately four feet. It scampered into the bush and out of sight. Tony took off running to get away from it.

Huge UFO Spotted over KC February 6, 2020

Drawing of UFO
PRESS RELEASE

A huge unidentified flying object was spotted over Kansas City, Missouri at 7:45 pm on February 6, 2020.

Close up
Missouri MUFON Assistant State Director Margie Kay went out for a few minutes at 7:45 pm and noticed a huge craft west of her position at 23rd Street and Noland Road in Independence. It appeared like the object was only a mile away and larger than a 747. There were brilliant white lights all over the craft and one red light on the left side. The lights were reflecting off of shiny silver metal which appeared to be in a cigar shape.

At first, Kay thought it was a plane landing at the Downtown Kansas City airport, and it would have needed to turn in order to do so, but soon realized that it was flying very low - at approximately 2,000 feet or lower and slow-moving from North to South at it was gigantic. It did not turn in the direction (west) it would have needed to land.

The object then either disappeared or turned all of its lights out before Kay could obtain video. Margie immediately called Jean Walker, KC Section Director for Missouri MUFON, and found that she had just seen the same object in the western skies from her position at 57th and Sterling Avenue, which is two miles closer to the object. Both women observed the object for 20-30 seconds.

With this information from the two locations, the investigators have determined that the object was approximately three miles from 23rd and Noland Rd in Independence, making it absolutely huge - perhaps four or five times the size of a commercial airliner.

Other witnesses: Two other witnesses from Blue Springs, including a MUFON investigator, and one witness from Sugar Creek also reported seeing the same object on the same night at approximately the same time. Another witness who was at 40 Hwy and Sterling saw an object of the exact same description and location on Monday, February 10.

The witness in Sugar Creek also heard a horrible loud mechanical noise on February 11 and went outside to see what it was. She found many of her neighbors outside looking up but no one could see anything. The sound continued for several minutes. We don't know if there is any connection to the February 6 and 10 sightings.

PLEASE FILE A REPORT IF YOU SAW THIS UFO OR ANY OTHERS.
Kansas City MUFON is investigating this case and would like to hear from other persons who may have seen this object. Please contact Margie Kay at 816-833-1602 or momufonasd@gmail.com or Jean Walker at jmwblondie@hotmail.com.

Missouri MUFON is a chapter of the International Mutual UFO Network
