Sasquatch Sighting in Sugar Creek, Missouri

By Margie Kay

My son-in-law, Rick, told me about a sighting he had in 2013 at a creek in Sugar Creek, Missouri. This site is very close to the Missouri River and a creek runs through it with woods surrounding the area.

Rick and his two cousins went fishing at this location one late afternoon in the summer of 2013. The three had been on site for a couple of hours and were standing silently as they watched their fishing lines in the creek when suddenly, a large, hairy bi-pedal creature walked out of the treeline and over to the creek. The men were approximately 100 feet from the creature, and said that there was no mistaking what they were looking at -- a Sasquatch.

None of them said a word and stood frozen in place. They did not want to alert the creature to their location for fear that he might harm them.

The Sasquatch appeared to be a large male at least 8' in height with broad shoulders a conical head. It had long black hair all over except for the face. It was staring into the creek and looked back and forth, as if looking for something (fish, perhaps?). It stayed for about 10 minutes, then turned away and walked back into the woods, apparently unaware of the men's presence.

The three men then grabbed their fishing gear and ran back to their vehicle without saying a word. They left and refuse to go back to that location again because they know what is nearby.

Coincidentally, Valerie Hoover lives in Sugar Creek, and she and investigator Jean Walker with MUFON have heard loud, deep calls that they can only identify as Bigfoot. They listened to sounds of Bigfoot calls on the internet and determined that they are very similar to what they heard. Valerie's house is only about a mile from the Conservation Area, so one can assume that what the women heard was a Sasquatch.

Bird Morphs into a UFO

Photo of a Hawk from Google
On February 11, 2020 Valerie Hoover called to tell me that she had just had a bizarre sighting over her property in Sugar Creek, Missouri.

At approximately 3:00 - 3:15 pm Valerie was outside on her back porch.  She looked up in the sky over the field and thought she saw an eagle, but the head wasn’t white, so she thought it was a hawk. It was circling around just like a hawk. Valerie was afraid it was going to get her small Yorkie,  then it put its wings next to its body as if it were going to soar down, but instead, it formed into a dark round disk-shaped UFO and took off at the speed of light to the Southeast and was out of sight in a second. Valerie realized that whatever she was looking at was definitely not a bird.

This location is the site of multiple UFO, orb, alien, and unidentified creature sightings not only witnessed by Valerie but by multiple investigators, including myself and KC MUFON Section Director Jean Walker. The house is close to the Missouri River.

This is the second winged creature sighting at this location (see my other reports).

Several such winged creature sightings were associated with UFOs or orbs of light at the same time. This is the first event reported in which the flying creature morphed into a UFO. Perhaps these unusual winged creatures are actually not of Earth but are extraterrestrials. Until we get more photos and video this phenomenon will remain unsolved.

Possible Sasquatch Calls Heard Along the MIssouri River

Investigators working on multiple UFO sighting reports in Sugar Creek, and Independence, Missouri have occasionally heard what are possibly calls by Sasquatch in the area.

Jean Walker and Margie Kay have been working on multiple UFO reports in the Sugar Creek and Independence, Missouri area along the Missouri River for approximately five years. Some witnesses have described hearing very loud screeches and screams that come from two or even three creatures at the same time, who seem to be communicating with each other from different directions. Both Margie and Jean have heard the calls as well while on site for investigations, but the witnesses who live on the sites have heard these yells on numerous occasions.

Location of Sasquatch sightings or screams
Three men saw a Sasquatch walk out of the woods and look at a stream in the Sugar Creek Conservation area a few years ago (see my previous article on this subject), so we know that Sasquatch are in the area.

The most recent event occurred in November of 2018 east of Independence, Missouri along 24 Highway in a rural area with farmland and houses. A family was having dinner when they heard what sounded like a girl screaming very loudly. They ran outside to see if they could find the girl, but didn't find anyone. Luckily, the event was captured on audio on their HD security system, and it has been analyzed by investigators, who believe that the scream was most likely a Sasquatch since it could not be identified as any known animal.

Seasoned Sasquatch investigators say that it is typical for Sasquatch to sound like a girl or woman screaming, although louder than what you would expect from a human.

All of the sites in question are near heavily wooded lands and are located close to the Missouri River. There would be ample food and water supply for Sasquatch in the area. Investigators plan to search for signs of Sasquatch structures in the area in the spring of 2019.

Anyone who has encountered a Sasquatch or heard unusual loud screams is encouraged to contact Margie Kay at margiekay06@yahoo.com.
